Commitment and communication plan
1. Introduction
This Communication Plan defines the methods by which UD’ANET S.r.l. communicates, both internally and externally, its commitment to gender equality, inclusion, the promotion of diversity and equal opportunities, in accordance with the Gender Equality Policy and the Management System compliant with UNI/PdR 125:2022.
Communication represents a fundamental tool for promoting a culture of gender equality, encouraging inclusive behaviour and strengthening the awareness of all stakeholders regarding the Company’s values.
All corporate communications adopt respectful, inclusive and non-discriminatory language, avoiding gender stereotypes both in written content and in the images used. To this end, marketing materials and the communication strategy are subject to periodic review, with the objective of promoting a positive representation of women and the female gender.
2. Objectives
The purpose of this Plan is to:
- disseminate the Gender Equality Policy;
- communicate the commitments undertaken by UD’ANET in accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022;
- promote an inclusive corporate culture that respects diversity;
- raise awareness among employees and stakeholders on equal opportunity issues;
- promote awareness of Company procedures, including reporting channels;
- highlight the initiatives adopted by the Company concerning inclusion, welfare, organisational well-being and work-life balance;
- strengthen the Company’s reputation as an organisation committed to valuing and supporting its people.
3. Target Audiences
Communication activities are addressed to:
Internal Stakeholders
- employees;
- male and female collaborators;
- Management;
- Gender Equality Steering Committee;
- ongoing consultants.
External Stakeholders
- customers;
- suppliers;
- business partners;
- job applicants;
- public authorities;
- certification bodies;
- local community;
- other interested parties.
4. Communication Principles
UD’ANET is committed to ensuring that all communications, including marketing and advertising activities:
- use inclusive and respectful language;
- represent women and men in a balanced manner;
- avoid stereotypes and discrimination;
- promote respect for individuals;
- recognise and value skills, professionalism and merit;
- are consistent with the Gender Equality Policy.
Advertising materials, the corporate website, social media, job advertisements and institutional communications are periodically reviewed to ensure their consistency with these principles.
5. Planning of Communication Activities
The communication activities provided for under this Plan are planned annually by Company Management, with the support of the Gender Equality Steering Committee and the Gender Equality Management System Manager.
The annual planning identifies, based on the objectives defined in the Strategic Plan for Gender Equality and on organisational requirements, at least:
- the topics to be communicated;
- the target audiences (internal and external stakeholders);
- the communication channels and tools to be used;
- the expected frequency or timing;
- the responsibilities for implementing the activities.
The Annual Communication Plan constitutes an operational document of the Gender Equality Management System and is reviewed and updated at least once a year, or whenever organisational, regulatory or strategic changes occur that require it to be adapted.
6. Communication Activities
UD’ANET carries out internal and external communication activities through:
- publication of the Gender Equality Policy on the corporate website;
- periodic communications to employees and collaborators;
- dissemination of the reporting procedures and channels available to contact the Gender Equality Steering Committee;
- communication of welfare and work-life balance initiatives;
- training and awareness-raising activities on gender equality;
- publication of job advertisements using inclusive language;
- communication of initiatives promoted by the Gender Equality Steering Committee;
- use of social media channels to promote a culture of inclusion and equal opportunities;
- periodic updating of the corporate website.
The planned activities include, by way of example and without limitation:
- dissemination of the Gender Equality Policy;
- communication of the objectives and initiatives of the Management System;
- awareness-raising and training activities on gender equality, inclusion and the promotion of diversity;
- communication of welfare initiatives and measures aimed at reconciling professional and private life;
- dissemination of the procedures and channels available to submit reports to the Gender Equality Steering Committee;
- communication of the achievement and maintenance of UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, as well as of further Company initiatives concerning equal opportunities.
