BESIDE (BES – Digital Educational Identification and Enhancement) è un progetto innovativo di Ud’Aanet, is an innovative Ud’Anet project designed to support early assessment and cognitive development in children aged 3 to 6 who may have Specific Learning Disorders (SLD).
By combining educational technology, artificial intelligence, and validated scientific approaches, BESIDE provides a practical solution for teachers, therapists, and families who want to take timely and personalized action on early cognitive development.
The BESIDE project aims to create a complete digital ecosystem, including:
A main app with 72 cognitive games designed for tablets;
A web platform for operators (educators, therapists, teachers);
A Learning Analytics and AI system for real-time data analysis.
Each child accesses the platform using a secure, anonymous code, and engages in personalized activities designed to assess and strengthen key skills such as memory, attention, language, motor coordination, and number sense.
Early assessment through play
BESIDE games are not just recreational activities: they are scientifically designed educational tools to identify early signs of learning difficulties. The system monitors every interaction (responses, timing, strategies) and provides operators with detailed, anonymized reports.
Based on the results, operators can create tailored learning plans, selecting the most suitable apps from 17 cognitive categories identified in the scientific literature.
