    Gender Equality Policy

    Ud’anet has always operated in the field of the design and production of IT systems, multimedia and publishing applications; the design and implementation of applied research projects in the field of Information Technology; and the provision of e-learning training courses.

    The Company believes that its success is linked to its ability to satisfy its customers in a sustainable and lasting manner, and that such ability is closely connected to its people, whom it considers its greatest asset. The Company therefore supports their professional and personal development and fosters an inclusive, collaborative working environment that is open to listening and dialogue.

    With this in mind, the Company Management is directly committed to establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving within its organisation all the necessary measures relating to gender equality, in order to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements of UNI/PdR 125 and with those established by the applicable legislation and relevant regulatory framework.

    This commitment is translated into the following actions:

    • promoting a culture of diversity and equal opportunities among all persons working for or collaborating with the Company, ensuring that they are treated at all times with dignity, respect and fairness;
    • creating a welcoming working environment, free from any form of direct or indirect discrimination and from any type of harmful behaviour based on personal differences;
    • ensuring that remuneration is provided to employees in accordance with legal requirements and on an equitable basis for the work performed, regardless of gender;
    • regularly monitoring gender equality indicators in order to identify the most appropriate, timely and effective actions to achieve the established objectives;
    • implementing specific personnel management policies aimed at ensuring fairness throughout all stages of the employment relationship, from the selection and onboarding processes to role assignment, performance assessment, remuneration, access to training, career advancement opportunities, internal mobility and termination of employment;
    • implementing internal and external communication policies, including advertising and marketing activities, aimed at promoting gender equality, recognising and protecting diversity, and supporting women’s empowerment;
    • recognising the value of work-life balance by defining procedures and activities aimed at supporting parenthood and caregiving responsibilities and facilitating the reconciliation of professional and private life;
    • implementing strict prevention and zero-tolerance policies against any form of physical, verbal or digital abuse and harassment in the workplace, regardless of the role held or level of responsibility.

    Furthermore, the Company prepares a communication plan concerning its commitment to gender equality, ensuring that its communications are consistent with the principles of this Policy and with the objectives established and implemented through the strategic plan. Ud’anet pays the utmost attention to avoiding gender stereotypes in its internal and external communications, ensuring the periodic review of communication materials and strategies, and is committed to promoting a positive image of women and girls through the use of language that respects gender differences.

    In order to ensure that these principles are effectively implemented and continuously monitored, Ud’anet has established the Gender Equality Steering Committee, the body responsible for promoting, verifying and overseeing the effective implementation of this Policy and of the Gender Equality Management System.

    In accordance with this Policy and the Company’s organisational framework, the Steering Committee periodically monitors the achievement of gender equality objectives, verifies the effective implementation of the measures adopted and promotes any necessary improvement actions, ensuring compliance with the principles set out herein.
